Pamela Gibson graduated from Queen's University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Computer Science.
While in university, she spent her summers writing software for Great Lakes Pulp and Paper Mill. Upon graduation she worked for the research and development department of a large international telecommunication company, (AEI Telecommunications - later becoming GEC Telecommunications). It wasn't long after that she was asked to join the sales and marketing team as their technical and research support.
Within a few years she broke new ground in the up and coming world of smart cards. Working with a small start up comany (Precursor), she developed the software for the first North American contactless smart card system for urban transit. The trial took place in Ontario, Canada followed by the installation of another trial system in New Zealand.
In 2003, following the development of a website for Russell D. Barber Public School, Pam founded her own website company called IMonDWeb consulting that currently manages more than half a dozen websites both throughout Canada and internationally. In the fall of 2005 she joined Springstreet Consulting and Communication as their technical advisor responsible for website development and management, on-line registration management and general conference coordination.
She is currently working a new project. A web-based resume posting service called www.mypostedresume.com
