Kerry is a dynamic senior marketing communications
executive with extensive national and international
experience in strategic and brand planning, marketing
communications, business development, and corporate
reputation management.
In her role President, Canada for
Weber Shandwick Worldwide, Kerry provides strategic
communications counsel to some of the world's best loved
brands including McDonald's and Home Depot. Prior to
joining Weber Shandwick, Kerry spent the first 12 years
of her career on the agency side providing consulting
services to blue-chip clients in the areas of: brand
planning, strategic planning, integrated marketing, PR
services, events and sponsorship, new product launches,
media promotions and corporate communications.
A successful entrepreneur in her own right, in 1993 she
co-founded DBA Communications and spent the next ten
years building a highly successful boutique
communications firm with an international focus
providing her with a unique set of business management
skills. She built her business assisting both Canadian
and international clients in the categories of not-for-profit, lifestyle, tourism, hospitality and off-shore
financial services.

Division and hired
Barb Crompton
to build and manage that division. She continues to
work with Barb in her new role and provides strategic
counsel to Springstreet and its clients on an on-going
basis.
She also sits on the Advisory Board of Springstreet.
Her international experience includes work with The
Bahamas Government, The Bahamas Financial Services
Board, Cayman Island Bankers' Association, BVI
Government, The Government of The Philippines, RETOSA
(Association of Southern African States) and many
others.
A visiting professor at Ryerson University for five
years, Kerry is also an accomplished public speaker with
a career-long record of delivering dynamic presentations
and has established a robust portfolio and a stellar
reputation as a sought-after conference keynote speaker.
She brings to conferences and events a provocative
curiosity and entrepreneurial mindset. This combined
with substantial strategic communications experience
makes her well suited to tackle such crucial topics as
Country Branding, Corporate Reputation Management,
Issues and Crisis Management and Reputation Recovery.
